The next 1,000 years of hip hop!
Our UN of Hip Hop logo contains the four elements of hip hop: breakdancing, dj-ing, graffitiing, and mc-ing, along with the Sumerian solar system showing our solar system with all the planets and a bald eagle, symbolizing the national treasure that hip hop is to the global community.
The eagle wears a shield encrusted with the word "Amagi", the Sumerian word for "Freedom" or "Liberty". Symbolic of the uniquely American principles of freedom, individual liberty, and the rugged individual.
Also, it is the embodiment of Freedom of Expression, Freedom of Thought, Freedom of Association that is enshrined in the Bill of Rights of our Constitution. The United States is the only country in the world that truly has attempted to structure it's government with the inalienable rights of the individual as the highest authority in the hierarchy of power of government.
Although it took 100 years to rid the hypocrisy and another 100 to even begin to establish true Civil Rights, ultimately, it is through this unique American Experiment, hip hop culture was born, as a national treasure that has been held up to the world as an example of oppressed people having a voice and a platform globally and a path to rise up out of struggle and claim one's authority and power back from their oppressors.
Hip hop is the ultimate unique American phenomenon that gives hope and inspiration to billions, as well as a voice and a platform for all of the less fortunate people worldwide.
